The MINI JCW class represents the ultimate, top class, in the UK National MINI Challenge Championship.
Acting as a feeding series to the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), the MINI JCW Challenge is a true single-make championship for aspiring tin-top racers in the UK.
Looking to hone their skills in preparation for progressing to the next level in their racing careers, the championship will see the drivers competing across the UK for their chance to win the top prize – a Dunlop sponsored test day in a top BTCC race car.
With new cars priced at £45,950+VAT, the JCW MINI's 2.0L turbo-charged engine boast a respectful 265 Bhp power output, in a car weighing only 1,160 Kg (including driver).
Amongst other performance upgrades, the MINI JCW Challenge cars run on 17” Dunlop slick tyres, use a Quaife sequential gearbox and offer a large scope for suspension tuning and set-up potential via the 3-way adjustable Nitron dampers.
Now in it's 14th season, the 2015 MINI Challenge Championship will see Hamish and the Pandamonium Racing team competing at the following 7 race meetings this year:
• Donington Park 25th - 26th April
• Brands Hatch 9th – 10th May
• Silverstone 13th - 14th June
• Brands Hatch 27th - 28th June
